WinSun Decoration Engineering Co. successfully erected in 24 hours 10 houses that were entirely made from 3D-printed materials. The cost to create each of these buildings totaled less than $5,000 when all materials were 3D-printed by a special 490 x 33 x 20-ft printer. All resources required to build the homes were 3D-printed and then manually installed.
The 3D printer created many layers of concrete that were predominately generated from recycled industrial waste, construction waste, and tailings. This concrete was next bolstered with glass fibers. WinSun plans on building over 100 production factories to collect all appropriate waste in order to make this endeavor affordable.
These homes are not printed layer by layer on site. Rather, all parts are printed off-site and brought to the allotted land to be assembled by otherwise normal means of home construction . 
With this manner of construction, all efforts are placed forth to slash construction costs while being mindful of the environment. WinSun foresees 3D-printed construction being a solution to the increasingly rampant need for reasonable housing.
