0603 chip bead inductors handle 7.5 A

Four new chip bead inductors, the 0603 (FBMJ1608HS220N & FBMJ1608HM180N), the 0806 (FBMH2016HM121N), and the 1206 (FBMH3216HM221N), are designed for noise reduction in power system designs. The two 0603 devices provide impedances of 22 Ω and 18 Ω at 100 MHz and have a rated current of 7.5 A – the industry’s highest in this package size. DCR is 0.004 Ω for both.  

The 0806 and 1206 units are rated for 4.5 and 4.0 A with impedances of 120 and 220 Ω at 100 MHz, with a DCR of 0.015 and 0.020 Ω. Operating temperature is -40° to 125°C. From $0.03 ea/4,000.
