0603 PPTCs are industry’s first

Give designers a smaller overcurrent protectionoption for portable consumer devices

The 0603L Polyfuse Series resettable polymericpositive-temperature-coefficient devices (PPTCs) are said to be theindustry’s first available in an 0603 case size, givingdesigners an overcurrent protection device that meets demands ofever-shrinking consumer electronic devices such as mobile phonesand computers, Flash drives, USB thumb drives, hard disks, andcomputer peripherals. The circuit-protection devices are availablein four hold-current / maximum-voltage ranges, including 0.10 A/15Vdc, 0.20 A/9 Vdc, 0.25 A/9 Vdc, and 0.35 A/6 Vdc.

Certified by both TUV and UL, the devices offera maximum fault current rating of 40 A. Trip times range from 0.10to 1 s, minimum resistance is from 0.2 to 0.9 Ω, andmaximum resistance range is from 1 to 6 Ω. (Contact DanStanek for price and availability.)
