1.2-W PA targets point-to-point apps

The MAAP-008924 power amplifier (PA) is a three-stage, high linearity 1.2-W GaAs part that features an IP3 of 44 dBm and a quiescent current of 1,000 mA. Operating between the 10 and 13.3-GHz frequency range, the part can be used as a power amplifier stage, or as a driver stage in high-power applications.

Packaged in a 5×5-mm 20-lead PQFN, the amplifier is fully matched to 50 Ω on both the input and output. Additional features include an input return loss of 12 dB, an output return loss of 10 dB, and a gain of 20 dB. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
