1/4-brick converters target railway apps

The InQor IQ72 series quarter-brick dc/dc converters are board-mountable, isolated, fixed-switching-frequency industrial devices. They use synchronous rectification to achieve power conversion efficiencies up to 91% at full load. The encased modules target harsh environments and feature 42 to 110-V input and 1.8-, 3.3-, 5-, 7-, 12-, 15-, 24-, 30-, and 48-V outputs.

The quarter brick converters are suitable for a variety of 72-V systems, such as industrial automation, locomotive and railway electronics. They have an operating temperature range of –40° to 100°C. Two converters of different power levels are available for each output voltage and provide output power ratings ranging from 58 to 150 W. ($92.63 ea/large qty — available now.)
