By combining the internal negative power supply with the external positive 1.8-V supply, the MAX9509/MAX9510 video amplifiers drive a 2-Vp-p video signal into a 150-Ω load. These amplifiers consume 5.8-mW quiescent power and 11-mW average power.
Additional features include a supply voltage from 1.7 to 2.625 V, a temperature range from –40° to 125°C, a shutdown current of 10 nA, and a transparent input sync-tip clamp. Supporting dc-coupled inputs, the MAX9509 is available in an 8-pin TDFN package and the MAX9510 in an 8-pin microMAX.
