1-bit digital attenuator suits CATV apps

Suited for CATV and set-top box front-end applications, the MAAD-010305 1-bit digital attenuator is a 15-dB step GaAs MMIC digital attenuator that is designed to condition cable input signals to the STB. The device is ideally suited for use where high accuracy, very low power consumption, and low intermodulation products are required.The attenuator is designed for operation from dc to 1.1 GHz.

Additional features include an insertion loss of 0.3 dB, an attenuation of 15 dB, and an input and output return loss of 14 dB. Housed in an 5-lead SOT-25 package, the part also offers an input IP3 of 46 dBm and a P1 dB of 20 dBm.
