Featuring a 0°-shift microlens and a 1,280 x 800-pixel array, the 1-Mpixel AutoVision OV9715 image sensor is designed for advanced forward-looking automotive imaging applications as well as extreme-wide-angle field-of-view vision designs, such as 360° bird’s eye view, and parking-assistance systems. It also suits automotive vision and sensing system combinations, such as rear-view and trajectory-based lane-departure warning systems.
Based on OmniPixel3-HS architecture, the 1/4-in. imager delivers low-light performance at 3,300 mV/lx-s, 30-fps HD/ 60-fps VGA video output, and full-frame, subsampled, or windowed 8-bit/10-bit images in raw RGB format via the digital video port. Image-processing functions include exposure and gain control, white balance, lens correction, and defective-pixel correction.
