The ADS8284 and ADS8254 analog SoC integrate, respectively, an 18- and 16-bit 1-Msample/s ADC, 4-V internal 6-ppm/°C reference, an on-chip ADC driver, and a four-channel differential multiplexer. At 2-kHz I/P, the ADS8284 offers an SNR of 98.4 dB typ and a THD of –119 dB typ, while the ADS8254 offers an SNR of 95.4 dB and a THD of –118 dB.
Housed in 64-pin QFN packages, the parts dissipate 331.25 mW at 1 Msample/s, (Ea/1,000: ADS8284, $20.50; ADS8254, $16.50 — available now.)
