10-bit A/D dissipates 225 mW at 5 MSPS
The MP8784 is a 10-bit video A/D converter that dissipates 225 mW max at
5 Msamples/s. The device uses a two-step flash converter architecture and
incorporates a proprietary comparator design that reduces input
capacitance. The MP8784 can be used with either internal or external
voltage references and reference ladder taps are provided to trim INL
errors. DNL and INL for the device are +/-1 and +/-2 LSB, respectively, at
5 MHz. The MP8784 is available in 24-pin plastic DIPs. ($12.96 ea/1,
