10-bit video digitizer samples at 165 MSPS

Suitable for digitizing analog YPbPr video from HDTV tuners, set-top boxes, SD and HD DVDs, as well as RGB graphics signals from personal computers and workstations, the 10-bit ISL51002 video digitizer has three speed grades up to 165 Msamples/s to deliver resolution up to 1080p/UXGA at 60Hz. The part’s digital PLL has high noise immunity and 250 ns typical and 500 ns max jitter performance that eliminates the need for an analog loop filter.

Housed in a 128-lead MQFP package, the device also has an integrated sync measurement circuit, an RGB to YUV color space converter a Macrovision-compliant sync separator, a 4:1 MUX, and a DNL of 0.86 LSB at 165 Msamples/s. (From $8.24 ea/1,000—available now.)
