The SFN6122F dual-port 10 GbE server adapter is said to provide significantly lower latency and higher message rates compared to previously available cards. The board uses Sandy Bridge I/O with PCIe 2.0 and targets mission-critical, compute-intensive tasks in high performance, cloud computing, and big data environments.

The card provides network acceleration with full POSIX compatibility while taking only 5.9 W and supports optical and copper SFP/SFP+ modules, Direct-Attach, Fiber, and 1000BASE-T SFP. It features a field-hardened, full-featured user-level TCP/UDP stack. ($1,399 – available now.)
