10 kW air-cooled supply offers 0.95 PF

The Model PM36220B air-cooled 10-kW power supply offers >90% efficiency for output voltages greater than 40 V at nominal line and full load. It is available in 480 Vac three-phase or 240 Vac three-phase with 0.95 power factor (PF). The power supply can be configured with output voltages ranging from 30 Vdc to 400 Vdc in a 5 x 5 x 17.5-in. package yielding a power density of 22.85 W/in³ . Connecting three of these units will fit in 3U 19-in. shelf generating 30 kW of power.

The power supply offers protection from electrical overloads and over-temperature. Other features available include voltage and current programmability, current sharing, ac-fail, dc-fail, and output isolation FETs. The unit provides continuous full power over ambient operating temperatures of 0° to +50°C using a single, high-performance fan. It targets industrial applications such as laser cutting, semi-conductor test equipment, transmitters, radar facilities, data centers, ATE, supercomputers and broadcast equipment.
