10-kW x-ray generator uses negative cathode

The XT series of 10-kW x-ray generators feature a negative-polarity hot-cathode output with an integrated floating filament power supply, and an optional floating grid bias supply in models ranging from 10 to 120 kV. The front panel controls allow for local operation and an analog interface provides comprehensive remote control. On board ethernet with 12 bit resolution allows many operational features to be user programmed.

The generator’s IGBT inverter is fault tolerant. It has load current regulation of 0.05% of full current ±100 µA and line regulation of 0.05% of full current. The 6U (10.5-in.-high) unit can be configured with additional chassis in parallel to address higher power requirements. (Contact 631-630-3014 for price and availability.)
