100-VA inverters operate in harsh environments

The CSI-100-D1-IP66 series of dc/ac inverters delivers up to 100-VA sine wave output voltage. They are installed in IP66-rated waterproof, diecast aluminum packages with sealed connectors. Microprocessor-controlled high-frequency PWM technology is used to convert 24-, 36-, 48-, or 125-Vdc input to 115 Vac at 60 Hz or 400 Hz, or 230 Vac at 50 Hz. Efficiency is typically 80% at full load.

Filtering on the input and output of the inverters allow for it to be used in EMI-sensitive environments. The units have comprehensive electronic protection and comply with EN60950-1 and corresponding UL458 and CSA international safety standards. The inverters are suitable for use in transportation, mining, marine, oil rigs, and other harsh environments. The operation range extends from –25°C to +55°C.
