The VBM-100 series ac/dc power supply targets the needs of ITE, telecommunications and industrial applications where space limitations and/or noise restrictions limit the use of fans for cooling. It is a 100-W baseplate-cooled power supply series measuring 4.5 x 2.4-in. with a 0.6-in. profile in an encapsulated board-mount package. The unit delivers precise voltage accuracy, 0.5-W no-load consumption and 92% efficiency.
The power supply series comes with a choice of six regulated output voltages of 12-, 15-, 24-, 28-, 36- and 48-Vdc and a voltage accuracy of ±1% at 25°C. Custom voltages are also available on request. The supplies provide a 90 to 264-Vac universal input range and features active power factor correction meeting EN61000-3-2 Class D standards. It operates at temperatures between -20° to 85°C and incorporates voltage, short circuit, and over temperature protections.
