The AFBR-57E6APZ low power 100BASE-FX 125 MBd small form-factor pluggable (SFP) fiber optic transceiver module is designed for Fast Ethernet and fiber distributed data interface (FDDI). The module takes only 255 mW (typ), 405 mW (max), 40% less than the previous model.
The device has link distances up to 2 km using 50/125um or 62.5/125um multimode fiber, and it operates over -40° to 85°C. It has a DMI status port and is compatible with SFF-8074i and SFF-8472 MSA specifications. $32.10 ea/1,000, available now.
