12-bit SAR ADC offers 3-MSPS data rate

The 12-bit LTC2366 SAR A/D converter outputs data at up to 3 Msamples/s in 6- and 8-lead TSOT-23 packages. Operating from a single 2.35 to 3.6-V supply and over −40° to 125°C, the part consumes 7.2 mW at the maximum output rate.

Features include 72-dB SNR, −80-dB THD, and 82-dB SFDR at a 1-MHz input frequency. They also achieve ±1-LSB INL and ±1-LSB DNL. The ADC communicates via a serial SPI/QSPI/Microwire-compatible interface and offers no data latency. (From $1.25 ea/1,000 — available now.)
