12-W LED lamp is 60-W incandescent’s equal

The 12-W EnduraLED light bulb can replace a standard 60-W incandescent light bulb. It is the first submission for the L-Prize, which was created by the U.S. Department of Energy to spur development of highly efficient light sources. The lamp delivers 806 lm, a new industry benchmark.

The lamp uses innovative design and remote phosphor technology to deliver the same soft white light and mimic the familiar incandescent shape. It works with standard dimmers and has a rated life of 25,000 hours. (Contact Silvie Casanova for pricing — available 4th qtr.)
