13.8-in. color FPD systems
provide an 800-nit brightness
The Ultra-HiBright-14 large-format flat-panel display systems are offered
as the first such 13.8-in. color TFT LCDs to provide a brightness of 800
nits. The monitors come in XGA (1,024 x 768) or VGA (640 x 480) resolutions
and produce 256,000 and 16.7 million colors, respectively.
In addition to standard VGA signals, the displays optionally accept
NTSC, synch-on green, or other custom signals. Options include integration
into Pentium-based flat-panel computer systems, a choice of two monitor
platforms, and configuration with or without a touchscreen. ($4,790 ea/prod
