14-in. monitor has high refresh rate
To counteract the visual discomfort caused by screen flicker, the 1500D
uses a VESA-recommended refresh rate of 72 Hz. The 14-in. monitor has a
dot pitch of 0.28 in. and a resolution of 1,024 x 768 (non-interlaced).
Microprocessor-based digital controls allow the user to set power,
brightness, contrast, and other parameters. There are 16 factory-set
resolution modes as well as 16 user-defined modes. A dark tinted,
chemically etched, non-glare, anti-static screen is standard. The 1500D
uses medium-short persistence phosphor and has a video bandwidth of 80
MHz. The power consumption is 85 W and overall weight is 28 lb. The
monitor is UL listed and FCC Class B approved. ($645–check this.)
