The JCG15 and JTF15 families of compact metal-cased 15-W dc/dc converters are available in an industry standard 24-pin DIP measuring 1.25 x 0.8 x 0.4-in. Providing the nominal inputs of 12, 24, or 48 Vdc, the JCG15 series accommodates 2:1 input ranges from 9 to 18 Vdc, 18 to 36 Vdc and 36 to 75 Vdc. The JTF15 accepts 4:1 inputs from 9 to 36 Vdc and 18 to 75 Vdc. They suit mobile, portable and wireless applications.
The converters offer a power density of up to 37.5 W/in.3 with an efficiency of up to 91%. Single outputs are 3.3, 5.1, 12, or 15 Vdc, and dual outputs are ±5, ±12 or ±15 Vdc. The devices have input/output to case isolation of 1,600 Vdc. They operate from –40° to +100°C for the JCG series and up to 105°C for the JTF series. (From $41 ea/500 — available now.)
