The MPV1560S series of 15-W dc/dc converters targets photovoltaic equipment, offering an input voltage range from 100 to 1,200 Vdc. The converters feature a 12:1 input range, outputs of 12, 15, or 24 Vdc, ±1% line/load regulation, and 4,000 Vdc I/O isolation.
The dc/dc converters are protected for over-voltage and short-circuit conditions (continuous with autorecovery). The MTBF per MIL HDBK 217F is greater than 300 kh. They are packaged in a 2.75 x 1.89 x 0.925-in. encapsulated case. Each model is specified for operation from –25°C to +70°C ambient. All models are available mounted on adapter boards that allow installation in systems requiring a chassis mount or DIN rail mount unit.
