The RWY 150 series railway quality dc/dc converter uses high-efficiency power conversion topology to deliver 150-W output power. It complies fully with the EN 50155 standard for electronic equipment used on railway rolling stock and suits on-board and trackside applications. It delivers outputs of 12 or 24 Vdc, accepts voltages of 24 Vdc (14.4 to 34-V range), 36 Vdc (22 to 51-V range), 48 Vdc (29 to 67-V range), 72 Vdc (43 to 101-V range), 96 Vdc (58 to 135-V range), or 110 Vdc (66 to 154-V range).
The dc/dc converter operates from –40° to 70°C cold-plate temperature range at full specification. The thermally conductive MIL-grade silicon rubber compound encapsulates the device and ensures resistance to shock and vibration and meets EN61373/IEC61373 requirements for moisture and airborne contaminants.
