16-bit A/D features wide common mode input range

The LTC2311-16 16-bit 5 Ms/s SAR A/D converter features a wide rail-to-rail input common mode range, a flexible differential input, and ±8 LSB integral non-linearity (max). The ICs signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is 81.6 dB with a 2.2 MHz input, with a CMRR of 85 db.

The chip also has a precision internal reference with 20 ppm/°C maximum temperature coefficient and can be powered from either a 3.3 or 5 V supply. It consumes 30 mW with a 3.3 V supply and 50 mW at 5 V. The ICs output is high speed SPI-compatible CMOS or LVDS serial. Available now in commercial, industrial, and automotive temperature grades with pricing from $9.95 ea/1,000.
