16-bit D/A has ±0.1% total unadjusted error

The DAC8760 16-bit single channel D/A converter features a maximum total unadjusted error (TUE) of 0.07% FSR over -40° to 125°C operation, eliminating the need for calibration. The chip provides simultaneous voltage and current outputs, with programmable ranges, for maximum flexibility.

The device includes a precision reference and low-dropout regulator, along with a watchdog timer and cyclic redundancy check. It has a differential nonlinearity (DNL) of ±1 LSB and comes in a 4.4 x 7.8 mm TSSOP or 6 x 6 mm QFN package with a price of $3.99 ea/1,000. A 12-bit version is also available.
