The MAXQ610 16-bit microcontroller targets low power battery operated applications and features 1.7 to 3.6-V operation. The MCU takes just 200 nA typ and 2.0 µA max in stop mode (0° to 70°C), and delivers up to 12 MIPS at 3.75 mA typ in operation.
The IC has two USARTs, I2C and SPI ports, dual 16-bit timers, a wakeup timer, and up to 38 general-purpose I/O pins capable of supporting a keypad matrix. It provides 64 Kbytes of flash and 2 Kbytes of RAM and comes in a thin QFN40 package. (From $1.22 ea/10,000 — available now.)
