The low-pin-count PIC24F32KA304 16-bit microcontroller features a 16-channel 12-bit A/D converter, an EEPROM, intelligent capacitive touch sensing, and the ability to run from a 5-V supply. The processor has sleep currents down to just 20 nA and full maximum operating current is only 450 µA with a 1-MHz clock and 2.0-V supply at 85°C.
The 44-pin TQFP and QFN or 48-pin UQFN packaged IC has 16 or 32 Kbytes of flash, operates from 1.8 to 3.6 or 2 to 5 V, and provides 16 MIPS at 32 MHz. It also features a C-optimized instruction set, a real-time clock, three 16-bit compare/PWM outputs, hardware multipliers and dividers, and programmable 32-bit CRC.
