16-bit MCUs offer 128 Kbytes of flash

The PIC24Hxxx 28- and 44-pin-packaged 16-bit microcontrollers offers 32, 64, or 128 Kbytes of flash with up to 2 Kbytes of dual-port RAM, 4 to 16 Kbytes of SRAM, and DMA. Other peripherals include two comparators, a user-selectable 10- or 12-bit A/D converter, a real-time clock/calendar, two SPI ports, two UARTs, and one I2C port.

The devices are offered in packages as small as 6 x 6 mm and operate at up to 40 MIPS. They come in -40° to 85°C and -40° to 125°C temperature-range versions. ($2.63 to $4.18 ea/10,000—samples available now.)
