16-bit SAR ADC operates at 1 MSPS

The easy-to-use 16-bit, 1-Msamples/s LTC2383-16 serial SAR A/D converter has guaranteed specifications over the –40° to 125°C temperature range. Consuming just 13 mW from a single 2.5-V supply, the ADC achieves an 92 dB SNR and –106dB THD from a fully differential ±2.5V input range while maintaining a maximum ±2 LSB INL and no missing codes.

Additional features include a simple digital timing interface, Available in DFN and MSOP-16 packages, the parts flexible serial SPI interface supports I/O voltages from 1.8 to 5 V. Complementing the LTC2383-16 are the pin- and software-compatible LTC2382-16 (500 ksample/s) and LTC2381-16 (250 ksample/s).
