The W7N16GVH single-level cell (SLC) 16-Gbyte NAND flash memory offers high-density in a single PBGA224 package. The devices 27 x 22-mm package offers a 63% space savings over a standard CF card of comparable density.

The IC operates from 3.3 V at –40° to 85°C with sustained read/write up to 45/30 Mbytes/s and random read/write of 35/6 Mbytes/s. It features a 165-mA max operating current and a 0.55-mA max standby current. ($345 ea/100 — contact supplier for availability.)
