18-bit D/A has good low-level performance
The PCM69 is a dual co-phased output 18-bit BiCMOS D/A converter. The
device incorporates a thin-film R-2R ladder D/A converter, a digital
offset technique with analog correction, and a 1-bit D/A converter using a
first-order noise shaping technique. The PCM69 operates with any system
clock such as 384Fs, 256Fs, and 100Fs. Its specifications include a 110-dB
SNR, a maximum THD + N of -92 dB, 16 times oversampling, and power
dissipation of 75 mW typical. The device is available in 16-pin plastic
