2.2-GSPS, 8-bit ADC samples beyond 2 GHz

The 2.2 Gsamples/s, 8-bit MAX109 A/D converter with integrated track/hold amplifier, a quantizer, and 1:4 demultiplexed LVDS outputs, digitizes input frequencies beyond 2 GHz. At a sample rate of 2.2 Gsamples/s and an input frequency of 300 MHz, the device achieves a SFDR of 62 dBc and an SNR of 45 dB.

The LVDS outputs operate from a supply-voltage range of 3.0 to 3.6 V, which enables compatibility with single 3-V reference systems.
