Intended for use in industrial and enterprise applications that demand high performance under 24×7 operation, the drives have an advanced rotational vibration compensation technology that anticipates vibration disturbances, and counteracts them to maximize performance.
Said to have an industry best 0.6 W idle and 0.13 W standby/sleep power consumption, the drives also feature a 1.5 Gbit/s SATA interface, read/write seek time of 12/14 msec typ, track-to-track seek time of 1.5 ms typ, and acoustic noise at idle of 2.4 bels typ.
