2.5-in. SSD features 960-Gbyte capacity

The Mercury Electra MAX 3G 960-Gbyte SSD is one of the highest-capacity 2.5-in. solid-state drives ever offered. The 3.0-Gbit/s SATA drive used 2x SandForce 2181 series processor with chip-based data encryption: 128-bit AES-compliant.

The SSD can handle sustained reads up to 254 Mbytes/s and writes up to 250 Mbytes/s, with R/W latency of less than 0.1 s. The drive offers RAID support, SMART attributes, and native command queuing. ($1,300 available now.)
