2-mm connector joins peripherals A 2-mm connector, the FCN720M series,
consists of an IDC socket and a fully shrouded header that when terminated
to a 1-mm-pitch flat cable, provides a high-density interface between a
motherboard and peripheral device. It is available in straight,
right-angle, and surface-mountable versions, and can intermate other 2-mm
crimp, DIP, and IDC sockets. The socket is constructed of a polyester
resin, while the header is constructed of polyphenylene sulfide. The
current rating is 1 A at 250 Vac, and the operating temperature range is
-55 ° to +105 °C. The connector is available in 20, 26, 34,
