The s1100 PCIe solid-state drive provides 2-Tbyte capacity while using less than 25 W. The drive enables multiple SSDs to be deployed on a single server and features data-protection functions such as PowerSafe.
The s1122 card is ideal for accelerating applications such as big data, data analytics, statistical analysis and modeling, and video imaging. Sustained read/write throughput is 1.4/1.1 Gbytes/s in the SLC version (240 Gbytes) and 1.4/0.60 Gbytes/s for the MLC version. SLC random read/write IOPS (steady state) are 100,000/35,000; MLC 95,000/22,000. A SAS version is also available. (2-Tbyte MLC, from $7,995 — available February.)
