2 W SMT resistor offers low thermal resistance

The RHC2512 2512 power surface mount resistor uses unique materials, design, and manufacturing to provide much improved thermal resistance. When used with the recommended solder pad layout, the RHC will typically show a heat rise of 60°C/W, while standard 2512 devices can experience more than 120°C/W.

Rated for 2 W at 70°C, the 0.248 x 0.126 inch device has a 100 PPM/°C temperature coefficient, 0.1 Ω to 1.0 MΩ range, and 1 or 5% tolerance. Maximum working voltage is 200 V. An example part number is RHC2512FT10K0. Pricing ranges from $0.19 to $0.32 each in full reel quantities.
