2 x 24-character STN LCD

Offered in a 2 x 24-character format, the ACM2402D Series of LCD modules
uses STN technology and 8.7-mm dot-matrix characters to enable readability
from a distance of
10 ft. The series offers gray, yellow, or blue liquid-crystal options
and is available in reflective or EL backlight versions. An HD44780-compatible
controller allows 4- or 8-bit interfacing. ($17 ea/1,000–10 to 12 weeks
