The model 4040DDS sweep/function generator uses direct digital synthesis (DDS) to generate precise and accurate waveforms with little distortion. The $699 instrument provides 20-MHz sine and square waveforms and 2-MHz triangle waveforms.

The generator can deliver 10 Vp-p into 50 Ω with adjustable dc offset of ±4.5 V, along with AM and FM modulation, linear or logarithmic sweeps, and adjustable symmetry. Capabilities include internal triggering, external triggering, and gated operation. ($699.00 — available now.)
