200-V mono audio PA input stages deliver lowest distortion rate

Reduce design time and enable audio PA designs with 0.00035% distortion rate

The 200-V LME49811 and LME49830 mono audio power amplifier input stages are claimed to deliver the lowest distortion performance and reduce design time. When they are implemented in a complete power amplifier design, the LME49811 has a THD+N of just 0.00035%, while the LME49830 has a THD+N of 0.0006%. The parts save board space and design time by replacing more than 25 discrete components (many of which must be hand selected and matched by the audio system designer) in high-power audio amplifiers.

Housed in 15-lead TO-247 packages, the LME49811 and LME49830 offer scalable output power based on supply voltage and output device count and can drive an output stage to deliver in excess of 500 W single-ended into an 8-Ω load. The LME49811 features slew rates of 40 V/μs, an output drive current of 9 mA, an output voltage noise of 100 μV, an operating voltage range of ±20 to ±100 V, and a PSRR of 115 dB.

The LME49830 provides slew rates of 40 V/μs, PSRR of 115 dB, output voltage noise of 41 μV, output current capability of 60 mA, and an operating voltage range of ±20 to ±100 V. ($3.33 ea/1,000available now.)
