The GX series of dc/dc converters offer built-in load sharing for circuit integration and parallel operation or power source redundancy. No external components are required to incorporate the load sharing feature. Up to five GX units may be used in parallel to generate up to 1,000 W output power.
The converters feature an input range of 16 to 40 Vdc and output voltages of 15 and 24 Vdc. They feature a trim range of –40% to +10% to provide alternative output voltages from 9 to 26.4 Vdc. Output noise is 1% of Vout peak-to-peak. A built-in synchronization function allows the converters to be synchronized to a system clock. The converters are housed in an industry-standard half-brick package measuring 2.28 x 2.40 x 0.55 in. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
