The PFC 53-125EH industrial quality, ac/dc plug-in switching power supply module generates 200-W output power and suits heavy-duty industrial environments. It employs a power-factor-corrected input and a following half-bridge stage, to convert the universal ac input voltage to a 125-Vdc output, with convection cooling. All heat-generating components on the module are installed on aluminum heat-sink blocks and are connected to the heat sink fins on the side of the module.
The plug-in power supply has a built-in redundancy diode for parallel connection or n+1 redundant operation, including hot-insertion. It includes a module fail alarm with an optocoupler output. The module measures 3U x 14HP x 220 mm and is typically used in 19-in. rackmount applications. The supply module meets IEC61371 Categories 1A&B shock and vibration standards.
