The PKB4216C 200-W series of dc/dc converter modules in an eighth-brick format suit radio-frequency power amplifier applications. The modules offer an ultra-wide adjustable output voltage from 15 to 33 V. Delivering power up to 200 W and an output current up to 6.67 A, the module targets RF power amp applications that use semiconductor technologies such as laterally diffused metal oxide semiconductor.
The output voltage range meets specifications defined by the Antenna Interface Standards Group (AISG) that mandates a 10 to 30-V input voltage range to power active RF antennas. The module’s voltage range also covers 24 and 28 V, making it suitable for use in industrial applications interconnected to ICT equipment that requires either a sub-24 or 28-V supply from the mains rectifier. The module delivers 95% typical efficiency at 30-V output half load.
