24-bit ADCs offers highest measurement accuracy

The ISL26102/104 24-bit ADCs offer an on-chip ultra-low noise programmable gain amplifier that provide optimal measurement accuracy over a wide range of conversion rates with a minimum of external components. The devices are claimed to feature best-in-class noise performance through their entire output word rate range from 2.5 to 4,000SPS, delivering system flexibility unmatched by competitive devices.

Ideal for instrumentation, the ISL26102 and ISL26104 provide two-channel and four-channel input multiplexers, respectively. Specifications include less than 8nV/√Hz noise at 128x gain, 50 mW power dissipation during conversions, and 1µA shutdown mode. Low side power switch lets users shut off load cell current to reduce consumption.

In addition the ADCs offer an ESD rating of over 8kV HBM and bidirectional SPI-compatible serial digital interfaces for easy connection to an MCU or FPGA. (ea/1,000, ISL26102, $5.45; ISL26104, $5.95 – available now)
