25-A chip fuse is first in 1206 case

Breaks to 400 A for applications with high-inrush current and on-off cycling

The UST 1206 is said to be the first 25-A chip fuse in a 1206 case size. The slow-blow protection device provides a breaking capacity to 400 A and is rated to 63 Vdc/32 Vac for applications where high inrush current and on-off cycling is present, such as power-inverter overcurrent protection and backlit dc/ac inverters, where power consumption is high at a low voltage.

The chip fuse holds cURus approval and provides high melting I2 t values for desirable inrush withstand performance. Operating temperature is –55° to 90°C. Legend markings on each fuse provide a visual identification of rated current. (From $0.25 ea/1,000 — stock to 8 weeks ARO.)
