250-W motor minimizes noise

The RE 65 mechanically commutated motor delivers 250 W and is particularly suited for applications requiring high efficiency, high power density, and minimal operating noise. The motor’s ironless rotor allows the drive to work detent-free with minimal rotor inertia. High torques and very quick acceleration times are produced in combination with the four-pole structure of the neodymium permanent magnets.

With a 65-mm diameter and 130-mm length, the cylindrical drive delivers nominal torque of 0.5 to 0.9 Nm at a nominal speed of 2,400 to 3,700 rpm. Efficiency levels of up to 90% are possible. (Contact Deb Setters for pricing and availability.)
