270-V MIL-STD 704 bus converter suits mil apps
The MBCM270F450M270A00 is a nonregulated MIL-COTS BCM bus converter to complete a family of V.I Chip power components for airborne-, naval-, and land-based applications. It operates from 270-Vdc (230 to 330-Vdc) MIL-STD-704E/F-compliant power rail. It uses the proprietary Sine Amplitude Converter topology (SAC) to deliver isolated power to a nominal 45-V rail at >96% efficiency, >800-W/in.3 power density in a 0.25-in. profile, and 0.5-oz weight.

Systems using the MBCM-series bus converters with downstream PRM regulators and VTM current multipliers to drive pulsed power (for example, radar) loads, radio and satellite communications, computing processors/ASICs and memory, have a 60% smaller footprint, 3% higher efficiency and enable complete powertrain systems which are 66% lighter than previous solutions.
