2U network appliance platform uses Intel CPUs

The PL-80640 2U rack-mounted network hardware platform uses Intel 22 nm Core i3/i5/i7/Pentium/Celeron or E3-1200V3 processors. The unit can have up to 32 Gbytes of DDR3 1333/1600 MHz system memory, one PCIe x4 slot, four removable 3.5 inch SATA HDDs, and one CompactFlash drive. 

The platform can have up to 24 GbE LAN ports with optional copper and SFP removable PCIe expansion. The appliance has includes redundant 300 W ATX power supplies and one USB 2.0 port plus one RJ-45 console port on its front panel.
