The DVPL0503S is a 3-A PoL dc/dc converter that can be used alone or in conjunction with the DVHE 50-W dc/dc converter. The 3-A PoL converter is a nonisolated, synchronous, buck-regulated converter that steps down the voltage at the point of use.
The PoL converter meets MIL-PRF-38534 requirements for military-grade reliability. The converter provides 10-W output power, an adjustable output voltage from 0.8 to 3.4 V, operates from 5-V nominal input, and provides 92% efficiency.
